The Surprising Numbers

How shocked am I? I finally got letters from the two agencies that I worked for in London. I need them so that school boards can assess how much teaching experience I have for salary purposes. I was surprised to see that in two years I worked just over 300 days! I realize that teachers get quite a lot of holidays, and of course there is weekends, but when you view it as pure numbers that means that I worked less than 50% of the days in the past two years. Weird!!

After noting this, I decided to see how much time I spent travelling. In the past two years, I have spent 6 months travelling! Unbelievable really.
